Adire is a Yoruba textile art form. This fabric came to me - with the name Sliding attached to it on a hand-written sticky note that I also see as a drawing to me - from Adedoyin Faniyi via our mutual friend Marion Steiner. I decided to just cut out a hole for the head which This piece I could implant again. Currently, it is stitched into a dress by dots, not lines. It keeps sliding.
